Our motors operate on 12 volts DC, which is safe for both kids and adults, and can be used as replacement motors for motorized blinds, shades, and flagpoles in any RV motorhomes, travel trailers, etc. We also supply some motors that include a radio control if you want to upgrade to a remote control system.

The replacement RV shade motors do not have a remote, and you must connect them to a DPDT switch or some other home automation system with a 12V supply, such as the Qubino Z-Wave DC Shutter Module, which works great with SmartThings. The motor will need up to 1/2 Amp under load.
